We record aggregate page views and affiliate link clicks to understand which guides are useful. This analytics is cookieless, stores only the page path, referrer host, device type, and a one-way hash derived from your browser and network address (not the raw IP). Data is kept for about 90 days.

The Budget Desk does not set advertising or preference cookies for analytics. Third-party destinations, including Amazon, apply their own privacy and cookie policies after you follow a link to them.

Affiliate links may contain identifiers that let a retailer know this site referred you. We do not receive your payment details or a list of everything you buy.
